Player Problem Build Guide
Path of Idle Warrior Build: Frontline & Doom Diagnosis
A Patch 1.0.9 Warrior build workflow for frontline collapse, Fatigue, Doom attempts, skill range, shields, healing and single-target damage—without inventing coefficients.
Use this page when your backline is being reached, the Warrior survives but the boss reaches Fatigue, or a Doom setup fails despite upgraded gear.

The Warrior tooltip view exposes the parts a player can verify: weapon requirement, range, cooldown, shield or resistance text, and displayed scaling.

Quick Answer
- ✓First decide whether Warrior must hold enemies, add single-target damage, or do both; do not mix every available job into one test.
- ✓Community Doom clears report both Archer Guard and Warcry/Shockwave approaches, but the same thread also contains failed examples—copy the principle, not a claimed guarantee.
- ✓Keep the backline safe by checking active-skill range and engagement behavior before adding more damage.
Choose the Warrior's Job From the Failure
If enemies run past the frontline and delete the backline, the first job is engagement and survival. If the line stays alive but the boss reaches Fatigue, the first job is useful damage or enabling the damage dealer. If a Doom attempt fails with apparently strong gear, inspect skill package, range, protection and damage delivery before forging more levels. This page does not label one Warrior setup best for every mode because Steam players report both successful and unsuccessful Archer Guard, Blood Boil and Warcry variants.
Start With a Current Tooltip Audit
Read every active skill's weapon requirement, range, cost, cooldown, tags and effect text. A frontline who spends too long using a stationary buff can allow enemies to reach a backliner; a short-range skill can change positioning. Confirm which skill provides the shield, healing, summon, control or damage you expect. Launch updates changed descriptions and mechanics, so an older screenshot is not proof of current behavior.

A Conservative Frontline Package
Prioritize the effects that solve the observed death: reliable engagement, enough durability to remain present, and a shield, healing or mitigation source visible in the current build. Add single-target or area pressure only after the line is stable. Steam Doom players describe Honor Guard, defensive passives and healing or shield interactions as parts of successful Warrior attempts, but those reports are community cases rather than an official recipe. Verify every named effect in your client before spending.

When Fatigue Is the Real Wall
If the Warrior and team remain alive while boss progress is too slow, stop adding defense blindly. Keep the protective baseline and test one damage source: the Warrior's single-target option, a damage-oriented companion, or a damage type that the current opponent handles differently. The community Doom discussion contains reports of Blood Boil taking a long time and other Warrior packages clearing faster, which supports testing the damage job—not a fixed damage threshold.

Run the Same-Stage A/B Test
Record first death, whether the backline is reached, boss progress, Fatigue, and clear time when successful. Change one skill group, equipment package or team slot. Repeat the same encounter. Keep the change only when it repeatedly improves the original failure without exposing another character. Do not compare a Doom screenshot against a different Chapter stage and call the difference a build result.
Known Evidence Limits
This guide does not publish a universal health target, DPS requirement, exact shield formula, best Mythic list or guaranteed Doom clear. Public player posts use different characters, gear, Golem levels and patches. Boss-specific numbers and exact item recommendations require current retail evidence that controls those variables.

Community builds prove that a setup was reported or demonstrated, not that it is universally optimal. Recheck Patch 1.0.9 tooltips before spending scarce resources.
