The current Steam compatibility result is Playable. That is a real platform rating, but it is not the stronger Verified rating. SteamDB records the Deck test against build 24092880 on August 12, 2026. The game can still change after that test, so confirm the badge on Steam if a later patch changes behavior.

The published checks say all functionality is accessible with the default controller configuration and that the default graphics configuration performs well. SteamOS compatibility is also recorded. You should not need a custom layout merely to reach core functions, although personal remapping may still be more comfortable.

Steam records three caveats: some interface icons are not Deck glyphs, entering text can require manually opening the on-screen keyboard, and some text is small and may be difficult to read. These are the currently documented limitations. They do not prove crashes, broken suspend behavior, or a particular frame-rate problem.

Start with the default controller profile because it passed the functionality check. When a text field needs input, use Steam's keyboard shortcut if the keyboard does not appear automatically. If text is uncomfortable, use the Deck magnifier or test a larger display; the compatibility record does not promise an in-game UI-scale control.

Before moving between Deck and desktop, close the game and wait for Steam's synchronization indicator on the first device, then confirm it is current on the second device.
