Path of Idle Doom Guide: Party Limits & Stuck Checklist
Current Doom rules for Patch 1.0.11: 3/4/5-Godsworn limits, post-clear Fear behavior, random attribute-damage effects, and an evidence-safe stuck checklist.

Doom preparation starts with the current stage rule and the first observed failure, not a permanent class ranking.

Quick Answer
- βSince version 1.0.10, the three Doom stages allow 3, 4, and 5 Godsworn respectively.
- βGodsworn who complete Doom are no longer afflicted with Fear and can participate in other battles.
- βStages 1 and 2 can add random Godsworn attribute-damage effects, so inspect the current condition before copying a build.
Use the Post-1.0.10 Doom Rules
Version 1.0.10 changed Doom substantially. The three stages now allow 3, 4, and 5 Godsworn respectively. A guide, screenshot, or comment describing one-, two-, and three-character limits predates the current rule and should not be used as a roster requirement. Confirm the installed version and the capacity shown by the current stage before investing in extra solo characters.

Doom Party Limits: 3, 4, and 5 Godsworn
The official mapping is stage order to capacity: Stage 1 allows 3 Godsworn, Stage 2 allows 4, and Stage 3 allows 5. This is a maximum capacity, not proof that every slot must be filled or that adding a character always improves the run. Compare the same encounter with a stable role plan. Extra members can add damage, protection, cleansing, or support, but they can also change targeting and resource demand.

Check the Random Attribute-Damage Effect First
Stages 1 and 2 can add special effects with random Godsworn attribute damage types. Read the visible stage condition before choosing a team; an older successful setup may face a different condition. The public note does not publish the selection probability, coefficient, or a universal counter. Record the displayed effect, first death, and whether the team remains stable long enough to deal damage, then change one protection or damage choice.

Fear No Longer Locks Completed Doom Godsworn
Version 1.0.10 says Godsworn who have completed Doom battles are no longer afflicted with Fear and can participate in other battles. That removes an old roster-planning assumption. If a post says every Doom clear permanently removes the character from other content, it is outdated. The note does not describe a Doom reset or promise that every separate Doom restriction disappeared.
Why a Copied Doom Build Can Still Fail
The large Steam Doom thread contains Warrior, Hunter, Mage, summon, shield, and hybrid examples, often with conflicting results. That proves multiple approaches were being tested; it does not establish a guaranteed build. Check whether the copied setup was recorded before the 1.0.10 party-size and balance changes. Then compare weapon requirements, skill range, protection, support uptime, and the visible stage effect instead of copying class names alone.

Doom Stage 3 Stuck: Separate Survival From Damage
Player replies to the 1.0.10 announcement disagree sharply about Stage 3 difficulty. One describes AoE and Armor Break pressure; another says the same stage was easy. Treat both as account-specific reports. Watch one full failure. If the back line disappears first, test protection, cleansing, range, or target access. If the team survives but progress stalls, preserve the defense core and test one damage source. Do not infer a universal resistance or DPS threshold from either report.

Watch One Full-Release Doom Case Study
This community-posted Lightning Mage recording shows a focused build in full-release Doom combat. Use it to observe skill cadence, positioning, survival, and what is visible in the uploader's setup. It proves that one recorded configuration worked in its shown context. It does not prove Mage is always best, that the same items are required, or that Patch 1.0.11 produces the same result for every account.
A single recorded clear is a case study for observation, not a universal Doom recipe.

Doom Reset or Replay Is Not Confirmed
Players asked for a way to return to completed Doom stages after the 1.0.10 change, but the request is not an announced feature. The reviewed 1.0.11 notes do not add a Doom reset. Do not edit saves or use third-party tools to force replay. If the current client exposes no return control, preserve the completed state and use the official Steam discussion channel for a feature request or a reproducible progression problem.
Safe Doom Stuck Checklist
Confirm Patch 1.0.11 and the current stage. Verify the 3/4/5 capacity. Read the Stage 1 or 2 attribute-damage effect. Record first death, target access, damage progress, and support uptime. Keep stage, team order, and automation fixed. Change one variable and repeat. Use community builds only as test candidates. If a completed Godsworn remains blocked elsewhere by Fear, capture the Doom result and current restriction because that would conflict with the official 1.0.10 behavior.
